Special Sitting Arrangements During the Local Court Annual Conference

Normal rostered sittings of the Local Court, Children’s Court and Coronial Jurisdiction will be suspended on and from Wednesday 2 August 2023 and will recommence on Monday 7 August 2023, for the Local Court Annual Conference. Learn more.

ACICA Essay Competition - deadline extended
|
The deadline for submissions to the annual essay competition for 2023 has been extended to 14 August 2023. Entries to the competition are invited and encouraged from students based in Australia who are studying a Bachelor, Juris Doctor or Masters level law degree in 2023, and from lawyers based in Australia in their first five years of practice. Information about this year’s competition may be found on the competition flyer and on the ACICA website.

Electronic Duties Returns (EDR) Certification 2023
Revenue NSW conducts a certification process to ensure EDR clients maintain suitability for the EDR service. This year, Revenue NSW will be contacting only a selection of EDR approval holders asking them to complete the EDR certification for the 2023 declaration period. The selected EDR approval holders will receive an email from edr.governance@revenue.nsw.gov.au in August 2023 and will have 21 days to complete the certification.
