Revenue NSW - Land Tax Clearance Certificate Portal URL Change
On 14 August 2024, the Land Tax Clearance Certificate Portal will receive an update to its URL. This will be the new URL for the certificate portal. A redirection will be in place but only for a temporary period, so any URL bookmarks should be updated. This will not impact the way in which practitioners apply for a land tax clearance certificate, only the navigation to the portal through which a copy of a certificate or update can be obtained. Changes to certain Transfer dutiable dealings
Four dealing types have been upgraded to allow duty to be assessed within the electronic workspace if consideration is payable:
- Transfer granting easement,
- Transfer granting an easement in gross,
- Transfer creating a profit à prendre, and
- Transfer creating a forestry right.
Corresponding versions of the four dealings have also been created to allow for circumstances where there is no consideration payable (and therefore no duty assessment required). Read more.
