Vale The Hon Andrew Rogers AO KC
The Chief Justice extends his condolences to the loved ones of the Hon. Andrew Rogers AO KC, who served on the Supreme Court between 1979 and 1993 and is rightly seen as responsible for the Court’s pre-eminent reputation in commercial dispute resolution, a reputation that continues to this day. The Chief Justice’s condolence message can be read here.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements
The current CPD year ends on 31 March 2024. Practitioners are reminded that they are required to declare their compliance with their CPD obligations pursuant to CPD rule 13 when they renew their practising certificate. Practitioners who are eligible for an exemption from their CPD requirements pursuant to CPD rule 16 should ensure that they submit an application no later than 1 March 2024. Applications can now be submitted via our online form. Please refer to our dedicated CPD page for more information, or email cpdcompliance@lawsociety.com.au with any questions.
