Practising Certificate and Membership Renewals will open on 3 April 2024
On 3 April 2024, solicitors will receive an email containing their LawID and a link to renew their practising certificate and membership of the Law Society. You need your LawID account activated to renew. If you have not yet activated your LawID account, please do so here as soon as possible. Any questions? We are here to help. Recruitment of the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar of the Administrative Review Tribunal
The government is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) for the position of the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar (Principal Registrar) for the new Tribunal. The recruitment process will be transparent and merit-based, consistent with the requirements in the draft legislation. An assessment panel will consider and make recommendations about the suitability of candidates for appointment, including shortlisting candidates based on written applications, conducting interviews and seeking appropriate referee reports. eConveyancing - New Client Authorisation Form Version 7
A reminder that from 28 March 2024, the new Client Authorisation Form under NSW Participation Rules Version 7 must be used. (Note that version 6 of the Form should be used prior to 28 March 2024.) ARNECC has published the revised form here. The Office of the Registrar General has also published a summary of the key changes in NSW Participation Rules Version 7 and NSW Operating Requirements Version 7.
