Changes to bail decision-making process in Local and Children’s Courts of NSW
An operational decision was made by Court Services, effective 3 March 2025, that all bail decisions would be made by a Magistrate and no longer by an Authorised Justice. Information on how the bail decisions are now managed in the Local Court of NSW and Children’s Court of NSW is available here.
