The Attorney General is seeking applications from qualified persons for appointment to NCAT as a full-time Senior Member under the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013. Applicants for the role must be lawyers of at least seven years’ standing. The Full Time Senior Member will be assigned to the Consumer and Commercial Division of the Tribunal and may be required to travel throughout NSW. Practice Note SC GEN 22
On 12 April 2024, the Chief Justice issued Practice Note SC GEN 22 – Pronunciation of Names and Forms of Address, with a commencement date of 22 April 2024. The new Practice Note makes clear the requirement for court users to familiarise themselves with the correct pronunciation of names and forms of address and sets out how this information can be provided to the Court.
