At a national level, Australia now has legislation that sets targets for emission reductions and requires progress checks under the Climate Change Act 2022 (Cth). NSW does not have a similar type of accountability for state-level targets, nor a framework for processes by which government and standalone agencies make relevant decisions. Farewell Ceremony for the Honourable Justice Paul Brereton AM RFD
|
|
Justice Paul Brereton will be retiring as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a Judge of Appeal to take up his new role as the first Commissioner of the National Anti-Corruption Commission. A formal ceremony to mark this occasion will be held in the Banco Court, on level 13 of the Law Courts Building, on Tuesday 30 May 2023 at 9:15am. The ceremony will also be livestreamed with the link being posted on the Supreme Court website prior to the ceremony.
