Appointment of Mr Richard Cavanagh SC
Mr Richard Cavanagh SC has been appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of NSW. A formal ceremony to mark this occasion will be held in Banco Court, on Level 13, at 9:15am on Monday 16 September 2019. The ceremony will be notified in the law List on Thursday 12 September, Friday 13 September and Monday 16 September 2019. The ceremony will be followed by morning tea in the Judges' Dining Room on Level 13.

Applications open for the position of Registrar, Common Law Case Management, Supreme Court of NSW
The Supreme Court of NSW is seeking applications for an ongoing full-time role as Registrar, Common Law Case Management. Applicants must have extensive post-admission experience as a lawyer and have sound knowledge of the law and procedures applied in the NSW court system. Applications are open online through the I work for NSW website. Interested applicants will be required to submit a covering letter, resume and answer two pre-screening questions. Applications close at 11:59pm on 16 September 2019.
