Transfer duty and other changes
The NSW State Budget was handed down last Tuesday 18 June 2019. This year’s changes introduced annual indexation for transfer duty bracket thresholds commencing from 1 July 2019 as well as an exemption from purchaser surcharge duty for retirement visa holders categories 405 and 410.
