Subsidence Advisory NSW will cease issuing Certificates under Section 15B & 15C of the former Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 1961 on 30 September 2019.
This change follows a comprehensive review of the mine subsidence compensation system and the enactment of the new Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 2017. Importantly, the discontinuance of certificates does not impact eligibility for compensation should a structure be damaged by mine subsidence. FIND OUT MORE
