The Trust Lodgement Portal (TLP) is now open and ready for you to complete your Part A. This is an obligation under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) ( Uniform Law ) for all law practices, including those that do not currently operate a trust account.
Please complete your Part A - Confirmation of Trust Money by 30 April 2025, in accordance with your obligations under rule 54 of the Uniform Rules, regardless of whether trust money was held or received (estimated time to complete: 1 minute); and
If you have held trust money;
Complete your Part B - Statement of Trust Money by 31 May 2025 if you held or received trust money during the trust year: and
Ensure an External Examiner’s Report is completed by a designated External Examiner by 31 May 2025, in accordance with your obligations under Section 155 of the Uniform Law.
