PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
The 2022 Law Society Council and our new Constitution

I am pleased to announce the seven candidates who have been successfully elected to serve on the 2022 Law Society Council. I would like to extend my congratulations to Councillors Cassandra Banks and Brett McGrath, who have been re-elected, and congratulate and welcome the new members of the Council: Danielle Captain-Webb, Jacqueline Dawson, Sylvia Fernandez, Rebekah Hunter and Mary Macken. An eighth vacancy was filled by the appointment of the Young Lawyers Councillor, James Skelton.

The following members were declared elected as Councillors of The Law Society of New South Wales by the Company Secretary, each for a three-year term at the virtual Annual General Meeting on 28 October 2021.
