Close to half a million pro-bono hours were donated in the past 12 months 

Last week the CEO, the Director of Policy and Practice, and I hosted a dinner event to thank our Policy Committee Chairs and Deputy Chairs for giving their valuable time and expertise. They deserve our gratitude for guiding our committees and contributing to, on average, the 250 policy submissions we make each year. It was a good opportunity for us to listen to these leaders as they brought to life some of the real challenges of Committee work.

Important Update - Motor Accidents Claims Cost Disclosure
The Motor Accidents Injuries Act 2017 and Motor Accidents Injuries Regulation 2017 (‘the Regulation’) came into effect on 1 December 2017 and relates to all NSW motor accidents on or after that date. Clause 40 of the Regulation places a duty on legal practitioners who represent a claimant to provide the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) with a costs breakdown in relation to the claim in a manner and time approved by SIRA. Specialist Accreditation Conference 2022 - Last chance to register
