Law Society taking action on mental health
A significant proportion of solicitors practising in NSW will at some point live with a mental health condition. The Law Society has for a long time worked to support the legal profession by providing information about mental health and wellbeing, as well as information to encourage solicitors to access appropriate psychological support when they are in difficulty. Re-location of court document access services to the Level 5 Registry of the Supreme Court of NSW – Practitioners and parties are advised that all Registry services are now available on Level 5, rather than split across two floors. All users or approved copying firms who need to view, uplift or copy court documents or subpoenaed material can do so from the main registry on Level 5, instead of Level 4.
