Neil is a Sydney-based solicitor and legal ethics specialist with a prior background in government consultancy and community sector management.

Prior to moving to Sydney in 2011 Neil founded the Queensland Law Society’s Ethics Centre and served as QLS Senior Ethics Lawyer advising QLS Council and solicitors on matters involving ethics and professional standards. Neil also served on the Law Council of Australia committee responsible for drafting the Australian Solicitors' Conduct Rules currently adopted in NSW, Qld, SA, Vic, Tas and the ACT. He is currently principal of a CBD practice specialising in lawyers’ ethics training and defending lawyers in professional disciplinary matters.
