Regional
Law Societies
A network of 29 regional law societies ensures that the work of the Law Society is directly relevant and accessible to practitioners, no matter where they are located in the state.
While each Regional Law Society has its own constitution and takes initiatives on local issues, the Law Society plays a coordinating role, providing grants and other support.
Representatives of each regional society meet in Sydney five times each year to discuss issues of importance to the legal profession, local members and the community.
