The Law Society has lodged the 2019/20 Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Report. WGEA is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 and aims to promote and improve gender equality in Australian workplaces. Read the latest report here.

The NSW Attorney General is seeking applications from qualified persons for appointment as Crown Prosecutors and Deputy Senior Crown Prosecutors under the Crown Prosecutors Act 1986. Applications close 23 August 2020. Find out more.

Family Court and Federal Circuit Court email addresses
The Family Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court of Australia have provided a list of specific email addresses for use in NSW family law matters. Using the correct email address helps the courts to process requests efficiently and reduces overall delays. The list is available on the Law Society website here.

New SIRA Claims Cost Disclosure Portal
Claims Cost Disclosures under the Motor Accidents Injuries Act 2017 will need to be lodged via the online DRS Legal Portal. The new functionality will be available from August 2020. Further information will be available on the SIRA website soon.
