Election of Law Society Councillors
The Law Society Council serves a critical role in providing leadership and strategic guidance for the Law Society, in addition to overseeing the sound and prudent management of the Law Society, its Strategic Plan and other strategic initiatives. Our elected Councillors represent a cross section of the profession and are ideally placed to consider the issues and pressures solicitors face, to identify opportunities to strengthen the profession and to help our members to thrive in practice.
Eligible members will receive an email tomorrow from the Law Society, announcing formally the commencement of the process for the annual election of Law Society Councillors. I urge all Law Society members entitled to vote in the upcoming election to do so, and to have a say in both guiding the Law Society and shaping the future of our profession. Continue reading >

2022 Law Society Council Election – Voting
|
Solicitor members will receive an invitation via email to vote in the 2022 Law Society Council election. The email includes a link to the electronic voting form. Solicitor members can submit a completed voting paper but are encouraged to vote online to ensure their vote is received before the ballot closes at 2.00pm (AEDT) on Monday 24 October 2022. Enquiries should be directed to secretary@lawsociety.com.au. |
