Right now, children on Nauru are being locked up against the advice of medical experts.

Some of these children have been born in detention and all they have ever known is a life of guards, steel fences, and uncertainty.

These children are in unsafe conditions without access to adequate health and education options.

But we can act to end the harm and bring them to Australia.

At the Law Society of New South Wales, we act as the voice of the legal profession. We encourage debate and actively drive law reform issues through policy submissions and open dialogue with governments, parliamentary bodies, the courts and the Attorney-General's Department.
