Our first Thought Leadership session for 2022, Impact of the pandemic on human rights, highlighted some gaps in the protection of human rights in NSW and the lack of public awareness of such issues. This next event will seek to unpack the features of the most recent state-based legislative model of human rights to inform discussion about the potential future enactment of legislation in NSW.

Our expert panellists will provide an overview of the drafting and implementation of Queensland’s Human Rights Act 2019 and the Queensland Human Rights Commission’s role subsequent to the enactment of legislation, followed by a Q&A.

Join us online for this insightful and engaging discussion.
