About the role:

HP Legal is seeking a Commercial Law Solicitor with 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience to join the team. The successful applicant will work closely with senior legal staff and will be responsible for a variety of challenging and rewarding matters within the firm’s main practice areas.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Have at least 1 year of post-admission experience working autonomously in private practice in the areas of commercial law and litigation.
  • Have an excellent academic record.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Environment and Planning lawyer to work alongside the principal in our CBD based firm, gaining exposure to a wide and varied range of matters pertaining to environment and planning issues for our Council and private clients.
This will involve/require:

  • Providing clients with expert advice that is practical and easy to understand;
  • Attending Land and Environment Court proceedings;
  • Enforcing planning & local government laws;
