Supporting Professional responsibility

The Law Society delivers information to help practising solicitors both understand and comply with legislative obligations contained in the Legal Profession Uniform Law the Legal Profession Uniform Application Act 2014, the Legal Profession Uniform Regulations 2015, the Legal Profession Uniform Application Regulation 2015, the Legal Profession Uniform General Rules 2015, the Admission Rules 2015, as well as their professional obligations under the Legal Profession Uniform Law Australian Solicitor's Conduct Rules 2015, Legal Practice (Solicitors) Rules 2015, and the Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors Rules 2015).

The information and resources available include online tools, calculators, links to research papers, checklists and overviews of the different sections of the Law Society available to assist the profession in maintaining high standards.
