Position Title: Solicitor – Commercial and Conveyancing (Full-time)

This position will suit someone who has at least 2-years post admission experience in business and property law and has a strong drive to develop their career and manage their own cases and clients. Apart from legal experience the successful candidate will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage a variety of matters simultaneously and work autonomously. You will be supported by a dedicated team of motivated people who are keen to ensure your success. Remuneration package is negotiable commensurate with experience. Essential

Position Title: Family Law Paralegal

A vibrant boutique family law firm in the Sydney CBD is seeking a career paralegal to join their team on a full-time basis. This position will suit someone who is looking to apply their experience and who has a strong drive to develop their career as a paralegal for the long-term. Key responsibilities include answering the telephone and client enquiries, liaising with other solicitors and barristers, preparing court documents including affidavits, preparing briefs to barristers, arranging meetings, diary management, filing and general administrative duties.

Skills and Experience

  • Have a minimum of 4 years + experience in Family Law assisting family lawyers
  • Experience and knowledge in conveyancing and the ability to complete a conveyance from start to finish
  • Experience in Wills & Estates Law preferable but not essential
  • Experience with LEAP Software preferable but not essential
  • Strong Microsoft Word skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, organised and can meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Love to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Career paralegals only, not suitable for law students or graduates
