About Law Society CPD

Law Society CPD has been designed with one over-arching goal in mind: to give you, our members, the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in the law.

We use member-based data and research to deliver a comprehensive program that covers seven key subject areas, including legal knowledge, professional skills and practice management. We also have a special category for new lawyers, who often need extra support and the information that will let them learn new skills fast.

Mental health and wellbeing

We understand that the law can be a challenging profession, and that stress and long-hours can affect our mental health. That’s why we developed a CPD program which gives you strategies for coping under pressure.

The Lawyers’ Guide to Sanity, Wellbeing and Profitability is held at several locations across the State and is run in conjunction with Regional Law Societies. Find out more.

Staff Training

If you want your firm to flourish it isn’t just your earners who need to keep their skills and knowledge current; your support staff do to. That’s why we offer both online and face-to-face legal support training that equips your employees with the administrative skills and practical knowledge they need. Find out more.
